The property is beautiful, modern, and gives the perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. Everything felt clean, calm, and elevated from the design of the rooms to the overall vibe of the hotel. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re on a real getaway the moment you arrive. What truly made the experience unforgettable though was the staff. The service was beyond amazing warm, professional, and genuinely caring. You can tell they take pride in making sure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. A huge thank you to Miguel, Ivy, Johnny, MaxiMilano, and Paulina from Jungle Restaurant each of them made our stay even better with their kindness, attention to detail, and great energy. Whether it was helping with anything we needed, making us feel at home, or simply going above and beyond with hospitality, they were all incredible. If you’re coming to Tulum and want a place that feels peaceful, stylish, and well-run with 5-star service, Copal is the move. I just had quite a pleasant stay at this property. I chose this based on other's reviews. The grounds are quite nice, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food and beverage options were all quite good. If you stay here, treat yourself to "The Healing Spot" and get a massage. You'll especially like it if you book one in the private cenote. I would definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back.

I had an unforgettable stay at Copal Tulum. The hotel is family-owned and you can feel the care in every detail. Although it’s a sizeable property, it feels intimate and welcoming, with a beautiful jungle ambiance throughout. Our room was spacious, luxurious and tastefully decorated — everything felt top-notch. We danced on the rooftop and later enjoyed an amazing dinner at Kokoro, the hotel’s stylish sushi restaurant where every dish was full of flavor. Around the pool area you can relax, swim and even enjoy meals or drinks in the lush surroundings. In the mornings we loved the fresh, beautifully prepared breakfast — the perfect start to the day. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive and genuinely caring. Copal Tulum and Kokoro together create the perfect combination of luxurious comfort and authentic hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this beautiful stay at this hotel. I arrived in quite a stressful state. My bank card was stolen just previously and the hotel was so accommodating and patient with me. I was greeted by Max at the front desk with a big smile he was always there to guide me where to go and help me with several things. I was introduced to Jorge the reservation manager who I met with and made me feel like it was going to be okay with all of my bank problems haha. He was a contact person for everything and was so thoughtful through such difficult situation. I ended up getting my room upgraded. Outstanding customer service representative. The restaurants are spectacular. Not only the service but the food I will be dreaming about. Every morning for breakfast I was greated with a smile and a chat. Paula, Geraldo, David and Manual are lovely and give great service. I tried the sushi restaurant upstairs too. Great waitress called Anna served my table. I came in the down season but it was a perfect time to come for relaxation. The pools are amazing and the venue is stunning! 10/10 would recommend.

I stayed at Copal Tulum Hotel for four days and overall had a great experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a relaxing jungle vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The cenote on the property was definitely a highlight—such a unique and wonderful feature. The yoga sessions were a 10/10, and the on-site photographer was also excellent. The food at the restaurant on the property was really good as well—everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. Transportation arrangements were smooth and well accommodated, which made getting around much easier. The staff truly made a difference in my stay. Max was especially pleasant, kind, and very helpful, and Johnny was also incredibly supportive throughout my visit. The only downside was that the door was sometimes difficult and inconvenient to lock and open. I also purchased an upgraded room, which did not meet my expectations, it felt a bit small base on what is shown. Overall, despite a couple of minor inconveniences, I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed four nights at Copal. Beautiful environment. We had two rooms. One with a private pool and one with the jungle view. Both were great. The one with the private pool was a little small, but it had a huge patio and its private pool. The location is unique. It’s just about the middle of everywhere. 10 minute walk to town center 10 minute walk to all the hip restaurants and bars and a 10 minute drive to the beach. Room service every day was great. We did not use many of the services but check in and check out was easy. If you have your own transportation, this is a great place to be.

We loved our room with private pool! Beautiful sunrise / sunset views. The staff at the downstairs bar were phenomenal and made us special drinks even before checking in. Very accommodating. Thank you Copal for a wonderful stay.

We had a great time here. Great vibes and absolutely awesome Design. This Service is amazing! The Personal at the front desk, the Concierge and the cleaning Team, everyone was friendly, helpful and always polite. The Pools are great, the View from the Infinity Pool on the rooftop ist great and when you need some shadow at noon you can swim under palms in the second pool. Our room had nice Interieur and everything we needed, including fluffy towels, a soft (Not to soft) bed and a little terace. The only downside was the salty water in the shower. But besides that we would always stay here when in Tulum again.
